Fees

Initial Consultation/Visit ~ Free

I believe that it is important for you to feel that working together will be a good fit and meet your needs for counseling. I offer a Free 30 Minute Complimentary Consultation/Visit to make sure that you are comfortable with my style and that I am the best therapist for you.  This time will be used to briefly talk about your needs and to discuss scheduling, fees, important information, and how I can be helpful to you. 

Fee for Service for Office Visits 

  • 50 minute session ~ $140.00
  • 80 minute session ~ $210.00

Payment
I accept accepts cash, check, all major credit cards, Health Savings Account Cards (HSA), and Flex Savings Account Cards (FSA).   All session fees are due at the time of service by cash or check.  All charges incurred are the responsibility of the client.

**Sliding Fee and Reduced Fee Option: On a limited basis, I am able to negotiate a sliding fee for those who are experiencing an economic hardship.  If you would like to explore this option, please ask if there are any openings for the sliding fee option.

In-Home Services
I am committed to offering in-home counseling services to families, couples, adults, children, and adolescents experiencing life threatening and chronic medical illnesses and/or for those who are facing difficulties leaving their home.  Please call me regarding these services.   (Area of travel: South, Southwest, and Southeast metro)

Insurance
As a fee for service provider, I do not accept insurance; clients pay me directly rather than going through an insurance company. This allows for you and me to determine the most effective course of therapy and allows for the highest quality of therapeutic services without the confines of managed care or insurance companies.  However, your payment may be reimbursed through your Out of Network Benefits, Medical Flex Spending Account, or Health Savings Account.  (Please check with your insurance company, Medical Flex Spending Service, or Health Savings Services.) Why I do not accept insurance?

Cancellation Policy

If your need to cancel or reschedule a session, I request that you notify me a 24 hour notice of any cancellation and will gladly cancel and/or reschedule your appointment.  This allows me to offer the appointment to another client who may be on a cancellation list.  I reserve the right to charge the full session for no-shows and cancellations with less than 24 hour notice.
